Your primary duties will include: * Coordinating and handling new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and renewing benefits * Assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system * Collecting and processing copay sums, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with sales or clinical issues * Providing empathetic and genuine care to patients and clients, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail **Required Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's Degree * A valid IL Pharmacy Technician License or the ability to obtain one * At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone * One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and email * Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy and precision in a fast-paced environment **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
