Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced data entry professional to provide advanced clerical and data entry support for a special project within our Lock and Key Services division. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on organizational needs.
As a Temporary Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for collecting, coding, inputting, and retrieving information using various data entry functions. Your primary focus will be entering data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets in preparation for transferring lock information into the arenaflex systems Key Module Program. This work requires meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Temporary Data Entry Clerk will include but are not limited to:
- Data Entry and Processing: Accurately enter data from keying worksheets into Excel spreadsheets, ensuring all information is properly formatted and ready for transfer into the arenaflex systems Key Module Program.
- Data Validation: Evaluate and verify notes, reports, and source documents for correctness and completeness before entering information into any system or spreadsheet.
- Quality Assurance: Review and double-check all data that has been or is to be entered, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors to ensure data integrity.
- Confidentiality Management: Maintain confidential records and files in accordance with arenaflex security policies. Understand that security and confidentiality of the information being dealt with is mandatory and critical to organizational safety.
- Collaboration: Confer with other department personnel as needed on data entry matters, seeking clarification when necessary and providing insights to improve processes.
- Team Communication: Meet as a group and individually with other team members and supervisors to discuss project progress, address challenges, and coordinate efforts effectively.
- Correspondence: Compose routine correspondence as required to support departmental operations.
- Special Projects: Represent Lock and Key Services on special projects as assigned, contributing your expertise to broader organizational initiatives.
- Training and Mentorship: May train new or less experienced employees, sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their data entry skills.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Work with other departments within the Campus Operations portfolio as needed to support organizational goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Education: High school graduation or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience working in an office environment, demonstrating familiarity with clerical operations and procedures.
- Data Entry Skills: Minimum two (2) years of above-average experience with data entry, demonstrating a high degree of accuracy (95% or higher accuracy rate preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Minimum two (2) years of intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, including advanced spreadsheet functions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent telephone and email etiquette, with the ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- Driver's License: Current Class "C" Texas Operator Driver License is required. The applicant selected must provide a current three-year driving record from their current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident.
- Note: Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate at the discretion of hiring management.

Compensation and Benefits
