As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in interacting with the public, gaining commitment to support our lifesaving mission, and ensuring the smooth operation of our blood donation program. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Interacting with the public on an individual basis to gain commitment to support arenaflex's lifesaving mission * Working from home, with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays * Meeting calls per hour standards and consistently meeting all monthly performance metrics * Following scripts and talking points as directed, leaving quality recorded messages with accurate information * Scheduling donor procedure appointments in accordance with donor commitment * Making follow-up and reminder calls, answering incoming calls, routing, and assisting callers as appropriate * Educating donors about automated donation procedures, working to gain commitment for the donor to "power up" and donate through an automated procedure * Maintaining a high level of customer service in all outbound or inbound calls, with a pleasant attitude and appropriate follow-up on concerns and requests * Maintaining confidentiality with regard to all medical and other private donor, client, and business information * Maintaining and updating donor call profiles through accurate data entry * Routing medical questions through appropriate channels * Maintaining a high standard of integrity and confidence in all communication with donors * Complying with all applicable compliance, safety directives, and regulations * Assisting in the training of paid and volunteer staff when needed **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A pleasant voice and professional manner * One year of previous experience in customer service or telemarketing * Flexibility to work unscheduled or long hours in response to a crisis or special blood needs * Ability to effectively communicate to the public over the phone **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial: * Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and data entry systems **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive and supportive attitude **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
