Our team is committed to advancing health equity and creating a more just and equitable healthcare system. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for patients seeking assistance with their healthcare needs. You'll be responsible for answering incoming phone calls, identifying customer needs, and providing solutions to resolve their issues. You'll work closely with care providers, internal specialists, and support resources to ensure that our customers receive the best possible care. **Responsibilities** * Answer incoming phone calls from patients and identify the type of assistance they need * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems * Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance when needed * Research issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues and/or partner with others to resolve escalated issues * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues * Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices **Requirements** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Must be 18 years of age or older * 1 year of customer service experience * Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm EST * Ability to work occasional overtime as needed **Preferred Qualifications** * 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools * Prior healthcare experience **Telecommuting Requirements** * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive an arenaflex-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service **Soft Skills** * Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner * Proficient conflict management skills to resolve issues in a stressful situation **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rate based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements) * Opportunities for career growth and professional development **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** arenaflex is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law. **Application Instructions** If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of our customers and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, please submit your application. arenaflex is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. **Note** This job posting will be live for a minimum of 2 business days or until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
