Position Overview: Customer Engineer – AI & Cloud Solutions
Are you passionate about artificial intelligence, cloud technology, and helping businesses transform their operations? We are seeking a talented and motivated Customer Engineer to join our dynamic arenaflex Cloud team. As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will work closely with our Technical Engagement teams as an AI subject matter expert to showcase the power of arenaflex Cloud to our valued clients. In this role, you will help prospective clients and partners understand the capabilities of arenaflex Cloud, explain technical features, assist customers in designing proof-of-concept models, and troubleshoot any potential roadblocks they may encounter.
Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to help clients leverage specialized machine learning (ML) hardware developed by arenaflex (e.g., Tensor Processing Units). You will work closely with clients and product development teams to shape the future of our TPU platform, contributing directly to the evolution of AI technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Opportunity Identification: Work collaboratively with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key client technical objections, and develop comprehensive strategies to resolve technical blockers that may impede project success.
- AI Expertise & Technical Support: Provide expert AI knowledge to support the technical relationship with arenaflex's customers, including conducting product and solution briefings, executing proof-of-concept work, and partnering with product management to prioritize solutions that significantly impact customer adoption of arenaflex Cloud.
- Product Integration Demonstration: Work closely with clients to demonstrate and model arenaflex Cloud product integrations in client/partner environments, ensuring seamless implementation and maximum value delivery.
- Strategic Solution Design: Suggest integration strategies, enterprise models, platforms, and application infrastructure to execute complete solutions using industry best practices on arenaflex Cloud.
- Client Engagement: Travel to client sites, attend conferences, and participate in related events as needed to build strong relationships and represent arenaflex professionally.
- Technical Enablement: Educate clients on the technical advantages of arenaflex Cloud solutions and help them understand how to leverage our technology for their specific business needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure client success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Cloud & Virtualization Experience: Foundational experience in virtualization or cloud-native models, preferably in a client-facing or customer support role.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with big data technologies, artificial intelligence, and mathematical programming frameworks such as TensorFlow, Python, or MATLAB.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- AI/ML Development Experience: Experience building AI solutions and utilizing specific machine learning frameworks such as deep learning, LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory), and convolutional networks.
- Scalable Systems Architecture: Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems that can handle large volumes of data and traffic.
- Data Management Expertise: Experience in data and information management as it relates to big data trends and challenges within enterprise organizations.
- Adaptability & Learning Agility: Ability to ramp up quickly, understand, and work with emerging technologies, processes, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud computing trends, AI/ML technologies, and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
