**Job Summary:**
We're seeking an experienced Chat Moderator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful environment within our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules
* Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, ban users with repeat offenses, and mute users who have violated our rules
* Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, taking swift and fair action when necessary
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote a positive and inclusive online environment
* Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in community management, conflict resolution, or a related field
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Familiarity with Discord and its features
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a remote or online community management role
