About the Team
The Studio Exploration and Analysis team at arenaflex is the backbone of our data-driven decision-making process. We are a collaborative group of analysts, researchers, and strategists who thrive on turning complex datasets into meaningful narratives. Our team supports the Streaming Product division, Marketing and Content Curation groups, and In-Home Distribution teams. We report to senior leadership and work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our streaming services remain competitive and customer-centric in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
What You'll Do
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities that directly impact our streaming platform's success. Your primary focus will be on Disney+ Product and Customer Experience tracking initiatives. Here's a detailed breakdown of what you can expect:
Core Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Assist with a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including the collection, mapping, extraction, and analysis of data from multiple sources. You will build summaries, tables, and report sections that provide clear business insights.
- SQL and Database Management: Join dissimilar datasets using SQL to support the daily operations of our streaming client experience tracking project. You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and optimizing query performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams across the organization to conduct research, including communicating project goals, business requirements, and timelines. You will efficiently prioritize, coordinate, and enhance our datasets to meet evolving business needs.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from different departments, as well as external vendors. Your ability to collaborate effectively will be crucial to success.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within product marketing, engagement, and product strategy teams.
- Project Management: Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance processes, and report tasks and status to supervisors to ensure completion within established timeframes.
- Strategic Partnership: Work with senior leadership and team members to ensure that each deliverable is strategically meaningful and drives key decision-making processes.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and analysis groups within Snowflake and Databricks environments to leverage cloud-based analytics capabilities.
- Communication: Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements. Respond to critical data requests from internal clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Presentation and Insights: Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.
- Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand) and In-Home industry trends amid a constantly evolving landscape.

- Programming Languages: Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or comparable programming languages.
- Advanced Education: Postgraduate degree in Market Research or Statistics.
