Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional to join arenaflex as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive real business outcomes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, marketing, operations, and finance, to solve challenging problems and support strategic decision-making.

This position offers the chance to work in a hybrid or remote capacity, providing flexibility while maintaining connection with our Atlanta-based team. You will report to an experienced manager and receive mentorship from senior data scientists and analysts. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for executing reporting and analytical tasks that support business objectives. Your primary duties will include:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting (30%): Execute existing reporting and analytical responsibilities with precision and timeliness. Develop and maintain regular reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide insights into business performance. Ensure accuracy and consistency in all deliverables.
  • Dashboard and Report Development (20%): Utilize data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc visualizations that meet the evolving needs of stakeholders. Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Leverage tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to deliver intuitive and interactive reports.
  • Quality Assurance (20%): Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Implement best practices for data validation and error checking to maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Skill Development and Expertise (20%): Develop additional technical skills and subject matter expertise within the core functional team. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance existing technical capabilities, including SQL programming, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Communication and Presentation (10%): Present findings in easily understood formats, focusing on how data analysis fits into the bigger picture. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Participate in team meetings and cross-functional discussions to share insights and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages is essential. Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation is required. Experience with at least one statistical software package (such as R, Python, or SAS) is preferred.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions. Experience applying statistical techniques to solve business problems is highly desirable.

  • Industry Experience: Three or more years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, forecasting, or predictive modeling. Experience in retail, supply chain, marketing, or operations is preferred.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Prior direct experience analyzing topics such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations, or Finance. Understanding of retail business models and customer behavior is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Google Data Analytics Certificate, Tableau Desktop Specialist) are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
