About the Role
This position reports to the Senior Director and serves as a critical resource for the arenaflex+ Product, Marketing, Content Curation, and In-Home Advertising and Distribution teams. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, supporting quantitative and qualitative research initiatives, and delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that span data collection, analysis, and strategic insight generation. Your contributions will directly impact how we understand and serve our customers.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Support a broad spectrum of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection, mapping, extraction, and analysis from multiple sources to build comprehensive summaries, tables, and report segments.
- SQL and Database Management: Join disparate datasets using SQL to support the daily operations of the arenaflex+ customer experience tracking project. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analytical outputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to conduct research, including communicating project goals, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, optimize, and enhance our datasets.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and across different departments, as well as external vendors, to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and prepare ongoing and ad-hoc reports using quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within product marketing, engagement, and product strategy for arenaflex+ and the arenaflex Streaming Pack.
- Project Management: Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance processes, and report tasks and status to supervisors to ensure completion within established timelines.
- Strategic Partnership: Work with the Senior Director and team to ensure that every deliverable is strategically meaningful and drives key decision-making processes.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and research groups within Snowflake and Databricks environments to leverage advanced analytics platforms.
- Documentation: Maintain exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements to ensure clarity and consistency across all initiatives.
- Internal Support: Respond to critical data requests from internal clients with urgency and precision.
- Presentation and Discussion: Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions with stakeholders.
- Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends amid a constantly evolving landscape, bringing fresh perspectives and insights to the team.
Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position requiring in-person collaboration from Monday to Thursday, with remote work flexibility on Fridays.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies and technical capabilities:
- SQL Proficiency: Demonstrated capability with SQL, including the ability to query and join dissimilar data sources effectively.
- Data Extraction Skills: Ability to extract data and join with various data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business.
- Quantitative Reasoning: Strong quantitative thinking and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Time Management: Capacity to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with critical thinking abilities and the capacity to create clear, concise visual presentations.
- Multitasking: Strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline).
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application and demonstrate your readiness for this role:
- Data Processing Tools: Familiarity with data processing tools such as SPSS, Q, or MarketSight.
- Survey Tools: Experience with survey tools including Translate, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey.
- Big Data Technologies: Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Programming Languages: Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or comparable programming languages for statistical analysis.
- Advanced Education: Postgraduate degree in Market Research, Statistics, or a related field.
- Research Background: Quantitative research background, either provider-side or client-side.
- Survey Analysis: Experience with survey data analysis to extract meaningful insights.
- Subscription Models: Experience with subscription-based business models and strategy.
