About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to become an essential part of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be the vital link between patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy and the healthcare system they depend on. Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive their medications efficiently and with the highest level of care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient Telephone Support: Provide compassionate, professional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- New Patient Coordination: Handle the overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and prescription refills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Benefits Verification: Verify and revive insurance benefits to ensure proper coverage for specialty medications, working diligently to maximize patient benefits while minimizing out-of-pocket costs.
- Prescription Entry: Accurately translate and enter new prescriptions and refill requests into our pharmacy information system, ensuring all information is captured correctly for processing.
- Copay Management: Professionally communicate and collect copay amounts from patients, explaining their financial responsibilities with clarity and empathy.
- Authorization Processing: Obtain prior authorizations and work collaboratively with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure medication approvals.
- Issue Resolution: Screen, identify, resolve, and appropriately defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues, ensuring financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment.
- Insurance Liaison: Interact effectively with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain thorough documentation of all patient interactions and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

- Residency Requirement: Candidates must reside in New Jersey and be located within 75 miles of our Fairfield, NJ facility.
