Position Overview As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the face of our store, delivering fast, friendly, and reliable service to every guest who walks through our doors. This role blends cash handling, product expertise, and a sprinkle of culinary assistance for our food program. No two days are alike—you’ll rotate through a variety of store zones, ensuring the environment stays clean, organized, and welcoming while consistently meeting sales goals. Core Responsibilities Greet each guest with a warm, authentic welcome and provide knowledgeable assistance. Operate the register efficiently, process cash, credit, and mobile payments, and ensure transaction accuracy. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell products, delivering personalized purchase suggestions that align with guest needs. Maintain impeccable store presentation—shelf stocking, signage placement, floor cleanliness, and visual merchandising. Collaborate with the food program team, preparing items, restocking supplies, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with receiving deliveries. Provide swift resolution to guest concerns, turning challenges into positive experiences. Adhere to scheduled shifts, maintaining punctual and predictable onsite attendance. Contribute ideas during team huddles to improve processes, product placement, or service delivery. Support special store events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns with enthusiasm and professionalism. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent (or higher education). Previous retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated ability to handle cash and operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems. Strong communication skills—both verbal and written. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Positive attitude, reliability, and eagerness to learn. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience as a sales associate or cashier in a convenience‑store, grocery, or similar setting. Familiarity with basic food service procedures and safety regulations. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized during peak periods. Problem‑solving mindset—quickly generate solutions and suggestions on the fly. Team‑player reputation—willingness to assist coworkers and share workload. Interest in pursuing long‑term career advancement within arenaflex. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Standing or walking for up to 8 hours per shift. Lifting and/or carrying up to 30 lb repeatedly for up to 30 minutes each shift. Occasional lifting of up to 60 lb from floor to waist level. Push/pull tasks using up to 20 lb of force. Bending, twisting, and reaching for up to one hour per shift. Hand‑eye coordination for tasks such as stocking shelves, handling merchandise, and operating equipment.
