Video Editor Needed — Government Agency Project (US-Based)

I'm looking for a skilled US-based video editor to handle post-production on a project for a government agency client. This is one project to start, with strong potential for an ongoing partnership — I subcontract my editing and specifically need someone domestic to handle sensitive clients.

• The Project-

Multiple deliverables built from existing footage and a storyboard I'll provide. You'll have more creative freedom than a typical edit gig — I want someone who can take my vision and improve on it, not just execute it line by line.

Deliverables

• Multiple long-form videos (1–3 minutes each)

• Social cutdowns derived from the long-form pieces (15–45 seconds)

What I Need You to Do

• Edit footage into polished, engaging pieces

• Add VFX and SFX where it elevates the story

• Create motion graphics for the social cutdowns (required)

• Bring creative ideas to the table — improve the storyboard, don't just follow it

Required

• Based in the US (non-negotiable for this client)

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve

• Strong portfolio in narrative or branded video post-production

• Solid motion graphics skills

Optional

• Color grading — I'm flexible here. You can grade the deliverables, or I'll request project files and handle it on my end.
