Role: Full Time
Location: Remote - US
Team: Market Access
Who We Are
Semsee is building the only independent digital platform that covers the full small commercial insurance lifecycle — quoting, binding, and policy administration — across both admitted and E&S lines. Our Managed Access Program (MAP) is a technology-powered wholesale brokerage that gives retail agents instant access to 50+ carrier markets through a single platform. Agents enter risk information once and get comparative quotes in minutes, not days.
MAP is our primary growth engine, and we’re investing aggressively in building a dedicated sales organization for the first time. Backed by Adir Ventures, we have the capital, the technology, and the carrier relationships. What we’re adding now is the go-to-market muscle.
The Role

- Work directly with Retail Agents to collect state specific E&S forms to complete surplus lines tax filings on the Inscipher platform.
- Prepare the binder, stamp with state-specific stamping (if applicable), generate the invoice, and package with the binder
- Quote and/or issue endorsements, ensuring the accuracy of changes
- Work closely with underwriters to ensure that all policy management activities (e.g., endorsements, cancellations, and renewals) are handled in a timely and appropriate manner
You’re well qualified for this role:
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Property/Casualty Insurance at a retail or wholesale agency preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance principles, policies, and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work meticulously and accurately within established guidelines
- Technologically savvy and data-driven
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with team members and external stakeholders
- Experience in excess and surplus lines, a plus
