Transportation Engineering Technologist

Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. They are seeking a Transportation Engineering Technologist to assist in transportation planning and road and highway design projects, providing support in design, drafting, and coordination with engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and AutoCAD civil 3D support for transportation engineering projects
• Conducting CAD drafting and design
• Preparation of submission packages
• Technical research involving various roadway design manuals
• Aid in coordination between other engineering disciplines

Skills

• Candidates must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate from a Civil Engineering program with a focus in transportation engineering
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings is an asset
• Experience with the following software packages is an asset: Office 365 Applications (Excel, Word), Revu Bluebeam
• Experience with AutoCAD or Microstation is an asset
• A vehicle with a valid drivers license is an asset as it is a hybrid work-from-home position
