Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions, and they are seeking a Tradeshow and Events Associate. This role will focus on the strategic planning, management, and execution of events, contributing to brand awareness and revenue opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Manage events for Q2 including, but not limited to hosted events and conferences and industry trade shows
  • Deliver an engaging and thoughtful customer experience at all events
  • Manage all event coordination including day-to-day administration, speaker, venue, vendor communication, and cross-departmental collaboration
  • Clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates to stakeholders on a regular and consistent basis
  • Serve as core team planning member for annual client conference
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress of assigned events
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts related to assigned events
  • Assist department in meeting business objectives for lead generation
  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree and ideally one year of experience in corporate or association event management and trade shows
  • Ability to think strategically, generate creative solutions and manage multiple, time-sensitive projects
  • Detail oriented, organized, strong project management and budget management skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently, drive projects to completion, and implement change
  • Communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build strong working relationships and communicate cross functionally and with sales teams and leaders
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across all levels of stakeholder management and engage in professional and productive collaboration across teams
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S
  • Strong skills in Cvent, SFDC, Marketo, Wrike preferred
  • CMP or CTSM Credentials preferred
