Total Rewards Team Lead

We are looking for a Total Rewards Team Lead / Head to build and scale a high-impact Total Rewards function in a fast-growing, multi-country environment. This role is hands-on from day one and will evolve into a leadership position depending on your experience and impact.
You will design and implement Total Rewards frameworks from scratch, ensuring they are scalable, competitive, and aligned with business goals across multiple geographies and employment models.

What You’ll Do
Build and own the Total Rewards function end-to-end from a zero baseline

Design and implement compensation frameworks (salary bands, benchmarking, review cycles)

Develop and maintain equity and long-term incentive programs (including ESOP frameworks)

Create benefits strategy tailored to different countries and employment types

Establish clear and scalable policies for contractors, employees, and hybrid setups

Lead compensation and promotion cycles, including calibration and governance

Partner with Finance and leadership on budgeting, cost control, and workforce planning

Build a data-driven approach to rewards, including analytics and reporting

Ensure compliance with local regulations across multiple jurisdictions

Support hiring by designing competitive and consistent offer frameworks

Over time: build and lead a high-performing Total Rewards team

What we are looking for
Experience in Total Rewards in high-growth, fast-scaling companies

Proven track record of building frameworks from scratch (not just operating existing ones)

Strong expertise in global compensation, benefits, and equity programs

Hands-on experience with multiple employment models (employment, contractors, EOR, service agreements) across different countries

Ability to operate independently and execute without an existing team

Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data and benchmarks

Business-oriented thinking with the ability to balance competitiveness and cost efficiency

Experience working in multi-country environments

Nice to have: experience in fintech or Tech global international companies

Nice to have: familiarity with People Tech and HRIS tools
