ZOLL Cardiac Management Solutions is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative medical technologies. The Test Development Engineer I will support the development of advanced test systems and methodologies for ZOLL medical devices, focusing on designing, testing, documenting, and validating test systems.


Responsibilities

  • Develop test methods and procedures to support manual and automated testing of ZOLL products
  • Design, document, update and validate and improvements for custom test hardware and software used in ZOLL test stations
  • Develop and update test requirements and plans used for supporting test stands and processes
  • Debug test fixtures and systems using common lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
  • Prototype, build and debug circuit boards, cables and other components for use in ZOLL test systems
  • Document test results and analyze data using statistical tools to prepare technical reports
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for ZOLL product testing while ensuring good manufacturing practices (cGMP) are maintained

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree Science Degree (EE, ME, preferred)
  • 0-2 years of engineering, technical or manufacturing experience
  • Basic electro-mechanical skills, to include assembly, dis-assembly and repair assemblies
  • Familiar with basic engineering lab equipment and measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with analog and digital circuitry
  • Experience with test automation software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C#
