Role Description

This is a part-time or full-time remote role for a Telehealth Therapist, with a collaborative team and full support. Our practice is located in Charlotte, NC.

    Qualifications
  • Experience in providing evidence-based therapy and/or conducting psychological assessments
  • Skills in developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms and technological tools relevant to the role
  • Licensed to practice as a therapist in North Carolina OR South Carolina
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Strong professional ethics and commitment to patient confidentiality

Overview:

We are searching for compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Counselors to join our team. As a Mental Health counselor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health conditions. This is an opportunity for a remote-work from home-independent contractor position to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.

Duties:

  • Provide Highest Quality, Professional and Confidential, telehealth Behavioral/Mental Health Services
  • Conduct (short term/3-6 month) Individual and/or Couples, or family therapy using a variety of evidenced based (CBT and other therapy modalities) in accordance with regulatory guidelines
  • Support patients in developing coping skills and promoting self-care practices
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and Clinical Supervisor to develop and implement individualized treatment care plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques and safety plans when necessary
  • Report suspected abuse as required by state guidelines
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Complete timely paperwork (i.e., *BY END OF DAY/date of service) - Progress Notes, Treatment plans, Safety Plans etc.
  • Monitor and document patient behaviors, progress, and responses to treatment
  • Maintain/Provide Copies of Active Professional Licensure in North or South Carolina along with Continuing Education and Professional Liability Insurance

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Marriage/family therapist preferred (Will consider licensed Associate)
  • Previous experience working in a mental health setting is required
  • Knowledge of evidenced-based therapy modalities is required
  • Familiarity with ICD-10/DSM diagnosing and coding for accurate diagnosis documentation
