Role: Technical Writer
Location: 100% Remote
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as user guides, manuals, API docs, and FAQs
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams
- Translate complex technical information into simple, clear content
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates
- Review and update existing content for accuracy and usability
- Ensure documentation aligns with product releases and updates
- Required Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with documentation tools like **Microsoft Word, Confluence, MadCap Flare, or Adobe FrameMaker
- Basic understanding of software development concepts (APIs, SDLC)
- Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML
- Ability to work with version control tools like Git
- Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Writer
