Remote, USA Full-time Immediate Start

About Us:

We're a digital marketing consultancy running SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) programs across a portfolio of B2B and local service clients. Our verticals include home services/roofing, enterprise energy procurement, telecommunications, and wealth management.

We have a Director of SEO who owns strategy, quality control, and client communication. We have an in-house content team. What we need is a reliable Technical SEO Specialist to execute the technical work across our client accounts as directed by our SEO Director.

What You'll Do (Per Client, Monthly):

On-page optimizations: metadata (title tags, meta descriptions, slugs), alt text, keyword placement, header structure

Technical audits: crawling issues, indexing errors, Core Web Vitals, site speed

Schema implementation: FAQ, LocalBusiness, Person, Author, BlogPosting, Product — as specified by the Director

Site health monitoring: broken links, 404s, redirect chains, crawl budget

SEO optimization reports documenting changes made and issues found

Implement on-page elements for new blog content (metadata, schema, internal links, image optimization)

Publish content to CMS and submit to GSC for indexing

You Will NOT Be Responsible For:

Strategy or keyword research (Director handles this)

Content writing (in-house team handles this)

Link building, guest posts, or citations (separate vendor)

Client communication (Director handles calls and reporting)

Quality control decisions (Director approves all work)

You execute. The Director directs.

Required Skills:

Strong technical SEO execution experience (2+ years minimum)

Proficient with Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights

Can write and implement schema markup (JSON-LD) — not just recommend it, actually code it

WordPress proficiency (Elementor, Yoast/RankMath experience preferred)

Comfortable with Core Web Vitals optimization

Familiar with GA4 and Looker Studio (for pulling data, not building dashboards)

Detail-oriented — you catch the missing alt text, the broken redirect, the duplicate meta description

Responsive and reliable — deliverables on time, every time

Comfortable working within structured systems (workbooks, trackers, SOPs)

Nice to Have:

Experience with Shopify, Duda, or other CMS platforms

HTML/CSS proficiency

Experience with site migrations

cPanel/DNS familiarity

What's your process for optimizing Core Web Vitals on a WordPress site?

How do you handle on-page optimization for a new blog post? Walk me through the steps from receiving content to publishing.
