TierPoint is seeking a motivated Talent Support Specialist to enhance the candidate experience while supporting recruitment and onboarding efforts. This role involves guiding applicants through the hiring process, collaborating with hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a TierPoint brand ambassador at all times
- Develop strong, trusting collaborative partnerships with leadership to understand hiring needs
- Conduct, schedule, and facilitate interviews for technical and non-technical roles (phone screens, virtual interviews, on-site visits)
- Be achievement oriented with a high sense of urgency, responsiveness, and follow through in recruiting tasks
- Ensure timely communication and provide an exceptional candidate experience
- Post job openings to internal and external job boards, social media platforms, and community networks
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements for role needs and set consistent interviewing process
- Create, draft, and format high-quality job descriptions that align with company standards
- Assist Talent Team with sourcing tasks such as resume screening or initial outreach for high priority roles
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate pre-employment steps (background checks, employment verifications, onboarding etc.)
- Support local hiring initiatives, job fairs, community partnerships, and university recruiting events in the St. Louis area
- Responsible for creating, maintaining accurate recruiting updates through internal reporting metrics
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, administrative coordination, or a related role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
- 2+ years of administrative and/or coordination experience, preferably in a technology industry
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field
- Prior experience supporting mid-size populations of remote, onsite, and work from home employees across a geographic footprint
- ICIMS and/or Applicant Tracking System
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience
