Systems Test Engineer

General Dynamics Mission Systems engineers a diverse portfolio of high technology solutions, products and services. They are seeking a Systems Test Engineer who will support Requirements Management and Test Procedure development for Undersea Programs.

Responsibilities

• As a Systems Test Engineer (Undersea Programs), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for supporting Requirements Management, Requirements Derivation/Decomposition, Test Procedure development from derived requirements, and support running developed test procedures for Undersea Programs
• This team develops the technologies, products, and services that help our nation’s heroes keep our nation safe
• The work is important and the challenges are career-defining

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Agile experience preferred
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
• Basic understanding, experience, or interest on both sides of the 'Systems V' (requirements through test)
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Creative thinker with ability to multi-task
• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
