We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Statistical Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data, applying statistical methods, and generating insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret complex datasets and deliver actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


Data Analysis & Interpretation


* Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using statistical techniques.


* Apply descriptive, inferential, and predictive statistical methods to identify trends and patterns.


* Perform hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and variance analysis.


Reporting & Visualization


* Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.


* Translate complex data insights into clear, business-friendly recommendations.


* Present analysis results to stakeholders and leadership teams.


Statistical Modeling & Tools


* Build and validate statistical models to support forecasting and decision-making.


* Utilize tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or SPSS for data analysis.


* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reproducibility of results.


Collaboration & Business Support


* Work with business units, data engineers, and analysts to define data requirements.


* Support decision-making through data-driven insights and scenario analysis.


* Assist in developing data strategies and improving analytical processes.


Required Qualifications


* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field


* 2+ years of experience in statistical analysis, data analysis, or a related role


* Proficiency in statistical tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, or SPSS


* Strong understanding of statistical methods, probability, and data modeling


* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)


* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills


* Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly


Preferred Qualifications


* Experience in healthcare, finance, marketing analytics, or research environments


* Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling


* Knowledge of big data tools or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)


* Experience with A/B testing and experimental design


* Certification in data analytics or statistics is a plus
