Position Overview: Staff Data Analyst

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Staff Data Analyst to join our Product Success team within the Data & Analytics division. What You'll Do

As a Staff Data Analyst at arenaflex, your contributions will be central to our data operations and decision-making processes. Here's what you can expect in this role:

• Project Delivery & Collaboration: Work closely with Product Success teams, Record Management, and Provider Relations to ensure the successful delivery of statistical surveying projects. You'll maintain our commitment to meeting ISO standards and global data processing protocols, ensuring every deliverable meets our rigorous quality benchmarks.
• Data Analysis & Manipulation: Lead the execution of daily requests for data analysis and manipulation. This includes processing both primary and secondary data sources to support internal and external stakeholder requests. You'll transform raw data into analysis-ready formats that drive strategic decision-making.
• Requirements Understanding: Evaluate requests for data services and develop a deep understanding of the requirements behind each statistical surveying project. You'll serve as the bridge between business needs and technical data solutions, ensuring alignment at every stage.
• Project Planning & Communication: Prepare, plan, prioritize, and communicate effectively to ensure project milestones are met. You'll manage expectations across multiple stakeholders while maintaining transparent communication about timelines, challenges, and deliverables.
• Data Quality Assurance: Verify informational datasets for logical consistency, reformat data as needed, and overhaul datasets to prepare them for downstream analysis. You'll be the guardian of data quality, implementing validation checks and quality control processes.
• Statistical Processing: Manipulate data into the right format for analysis purposes using Excel or SPSS. This includes weighting, data cleaning, transformation, and other processing techniques necessary to prepare data for advanced analytics.
• Process Improvement: Be a proactive contributor who provides advice or recommendations for improvements and automation initiatives. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and delivery speed across our data operations.
• Best Practices Development: Create and communicate best practices to partners across departments. Continuously work to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our product offerings and operational processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization. Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS is highly desirable.
• Data Handling Experience: Demonstrated experience with data processing, cleaning, and transformation. Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity throughout the analytical process.
