Overview of the Position
- The Educational Case Manager is integral to the success of Tutor Me Education by doing intakes with families/students, ,coordinating instructors, tracking student progress, and providing quality customer service
- Actively support Tutor Me Education Regional Operations
- Provide outstanding academic services to students and their families
- Operate seamlessly in a virtual operating environment
- Maintain Tutor Me Education operating standards including people, financial, and academic standards
- Ensure delivery of programs and initiatives for our students and school district partners
- Meet operational excellence standards
- Provide virtual administrative support to Regional Operations including answering phones, managing daily business data, and creating/ managing schedules with students and teachers
- Manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet company efficiency and usage targets
- Manage virtual tutoring sessions
- Monitor all students’ academic progress
- Help ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives
- Manage your own time in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Conduct conferences with partner program directors to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments
- Other responsibilities – as required by the business
- Relish building relationships with students and their families
Case Management and Compliance
- IEP/504 Oversight: Expertly implement and monitor IEP/504 accommodations, ensuring all educational supports are legally compliant and tailored to individual student needs.
- Quality Assurance: Audit instructional plans for rigorous alignment with state standards and specific IEP goals to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting: Streamline check-in systems between families, schools, and service providers to maintain transparent communication and updated student records.
Instructional Leadership & Clinical Coaching
- Specialized Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert in SPED strategies, providing targeted coaching on Autism, ADHD, ELL, and behavioral interventions.
- Pedagogical Frameworks: Champion evidence-based practices including UDL (Universal Design for Learning), RTI/MTSS, and multisensory instruction across the caseload.
- Professional Development: Facilitate monthly coaching cycles, including observations and feedback loops, to elevate the standard of care and celebrate milestone achievements.
Onboarding & Provider Management
- Provider Readiness: Lead the onboarding and training of educational staff, ensuring they are proficient in navigating complex curricula, assessments, and individualized Learning Plans (LPs).
- Gradual Release Modeling: Conduct demo sessions using the "I Do, We Do, You Do" framework to mentor staff on effective student engagement and lesson execution.
Resource Development & EdTech Integration
- Resource Architecture: Build and manage a "Virtual Resource Hub," including SPED toolkits, progress-monitoring instruments, and planning templates.
- Systems Optimization: Enable and troubleshoot educational technology (e.g., ReadWorks, Boom Cards) through the creation of "one-pager" guides and video tutorials for stakeholders.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment data to establish baselines, set SMART goals, and track student mastery over time.
- Strategic Intervention: Analyze data trends to adjust support systems and ensure students are consistently meeting their developmental and academic benchmarks.
