CobbleStone Software is a leading provider of contract lifecycle management (CLM) solutions trusted by organizations worldwide. They are seeking a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and successful delivery of their platform by executing manual functional testing, creating test cases, and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual functional testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across CobbleStone applications
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable across releases
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using internal tracking systems
- Validate defect fixes and perform re‑testing prior to release
- Maintain and prepare test environments to support upcoming development and release cycles
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product, Release Management, Sales, Marketing, and Training teams
- Contribute to release readiness by sharing testing results and product insights with key stakeholders
- Stay current on CobbleStone product functionality and customer use cases
- Complete and maintain required CobbleStone University certifications annually
- Provide additional QA and release support as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 1–2 years of experience in software QA, testing, business analysis, or related roles (Internships, co‑ops, or relevant academic projects are acceptable)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills
- Ability to clearly document test results and communicate issues to technical and non‑technical audiences
- Understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; background and drug screening required
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Familiarity with defect tracking or test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or similar)
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments
- Experience with or interest in test automation tools
- Knowledge of business, procurement, legal, or enterprise software domains
