SmartTown Alliance Intern

Join Calix as a SmartTown Alliance Intern for a full-time, remote summer internship focused on sales, business development, and marketing in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting launch and operationalization of the SmartTown Alliance with key internal stakeholders
• Developing and evaluating business cases for new features and capabilities
• Creating data-driven materials to assist the Calix sales team with partner knowledge
• Assisting with internal process design and documentation
• Managing and updating internal Alliance reference materials
• Working cross-functionally with product and marketing teams

About You

The company is looking for:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Sales, or related field
• Experience with Excel and data entry
• Salesforce.com or CRM experience preferred
• Comfortable with technology and learning new applications and platforms
• Team player with effective communication skills at all organizational levels
• Experience in analytical problem solving and analysis
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a remote environment with high tolerance for ambiguity and fast-changing environments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September)
• Preference given to Juniors or Seniors with previous internship experience

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly pay ranges: San Francisco Bay Area $21.85 - $28.75; Select US Metros and States $19.00 - $25.00; Other US Locations $17.10 - $22.50
