Shopify Storefront Designer & Developer – Modern Custom UI/UX + SEO Optimization

We are launching a new Shopify store and are looking for a highly skilled Shopify developer/designer who can take our store beyond the standard out-of-the-box Shopify templates and create a modern, polished, professional storefront experience. This is a short-term project for someone who can move quickly, apply strong design sensibilities, and deliver a clean, conversion-focused storefront aligned with our brand.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Shopify theme customization, UX/UI design, mobile optimization, and ecommerce SEO best practices.

Scope of Work

The selected developer will help us:

• Customize and enhance our Shopify storefront beyond default templates

• Create a modern, visually appealing store layout aligned with our brand identity

• Improve overall user experience and navigation

• Ensure the storefront is fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices

• Optimize product pages for conversions and readability

• Assist with product image optimization and presentation (layout, sizing, consistency)

• Implement SEO best practices across pages and product listings

• Improve page performance and loading speed where possible

• Ensure the site is clean, professional, and easy for customers to navigate

Key Deliverables

• Updated Shopify storefront UI/UX

Required Skills

• Advanced Shopify theme customization

• Experience with Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience creating high-quality ecommerce product layouts

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify 2.0 themes
