About the Role




We're looking for a hands-on Shopify Developer who specializes in building high-performance storefronts using custom themes, custom sections, and advanced Liquid logic.



Youll architect, develop, and optimize Shopify experiences end-to-endfocusing on theme structure, metafields, dynamic sections, frontend performance, and clean, scalable code. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex e-commerce challenges and building custom solutions beyond standard app-based setups.



Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL), Checkout Champ / Konnektive CRM, or WordPress is a plus, but not required.





Core Responsibilities





  • Develop custom Shopify themes following Online Store 2.0 standards, best practices, and scalable architecture.



  • Build custom sections, modular components, and dynamic page templates using Liquid and JSON.



  • Implement metafields, structured content systems, and reusable theme logic.



  • Create advanced product experiences: variant logic, bundles, PDP enhancements, AJAX cart updates, and custom frontend behavior.



  • Optimize storefront performance (speed, responsiveness, CLS/LCP improvements, code cleanliness).



  • Configure payment gateways, subscription tools, and advanced offer/upsell flows within Shopify.



  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex theme, Liquid, JavaScript, and app integration issues.



  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and technical teams to deliver pixel-perfect, conversion-driven Shopify experiences.







Required Skills & Experience



  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development, with strong experience in building custom themes and custom sections.



  • Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify Online Store 2.0, JSON templates, and metafields.



  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and asynchronous front-end behavior (AJAX, dynamic rendering).



  • Understanding of CRO-friendly UX, funnel-driven layouts, and conversion-focused frontend execution.



  • Strong debugging skills across Liquid, JavaScript, theme conflicts, and storefront integrations.



  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and accountability for code quality and performance.





Nice-to-Have (Pluses):



  • Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) automations and funnel logic.



  • Experience with Checkout Champ or Konnektive CRM in e-commerce workflows.



  • Familiarity with WordPress for supporting landing pages or marketing assets.
