Role Summary


Step into a key operational role as a Payroll Service Delivery Manager at Zalaris ASA. In this position, you will serve as the primary liaison for our German clients, managing relationships, overseeing SAP-related German payroll processes, and driving operational excellence and compliance. Your Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and high-quality service delivery.

  • Ensure services are delivered in alignment with contractual SLAs by monitoring, reporting, and analyzing KPIs related to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

  • Take ownership of your client’s service-related financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.

  • Efficiently manage change request implementation processes by coordinating testing, deployments, and system enhancements within the payroll platform.

  • Ensure adherence to Zalaris’ internal controls, policies, and compliance standards.

  • Proactively lead automation initiatives (e.g., RPA), transition activities between nearshore/offshore teams, and identify further cost optimization opportunities.

  • Foster strong collaboration with other Zalaris functions and locations to support integrated service delivery.



Your Experience and Skills



  • In-depth understanding of German payroll (mandatory)

  • High proficiency in German and communicative English (mandatory)

  • Experience in outsourcing company in HR, payroll, or accounting

  • Work experience with SAP HCM is an asset

  • Business-minded with an analytical mindset

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and structure work to achieve results

  • Strong customer relationship management and process improvement skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proactive, energetic, and adaptable attitude

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
