About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Content Specialist to support our digital content production team. This role focuses on transforming structured drafts into clear, polished web content that follows strict formatting and SEO standards.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving and refining existing content, rather than writing everything from scratch. You’ll work with AI-generated drafts and structured outlines, shaping them into well-organized, readable content that meets our internal publishing standards.

What You’ll Do

Refine AI-Generated Content

Review and polish structured drafts to improve clarity, tone, and readability. Content should sound natural and human-written, not robotic or AI-generated.

Apply SEO Formatting

Ensure content follows required structure and formatting guidelines, including headers, sections, and internal links.

Implement SEO Best Practices

Support SEO goals by incorporating keyword placement, FAQ sections, and snippet summaries where appropriate.

Ensure Content Accuracy

Verify that services, locations, and internal links match project requirements and client information.

Prepare Content For Final Review

Ensure each piece is clean, well-structured, and ready for final editorial review before publication.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a blank-page copywriting role.

You will typically work with structured drafts and outlines rather than creating content entirely from scratch.

Strong editing ability is the core requirement—SEO fundamentals (keyword placement, FAQ structure, internal linking) are trained during onboarding.

Qualifications

Required
• Excellent written English and grammar skills
• Ability to improve clarity and flow in written content
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working with structured instructions and formatting guidelines

Preferred
• Familiarity with SEO content writing
• Experience with website content or blog writing
• Experience using AI writing tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms

Work Expectations

Once trained, SEO Content Specialists typically review and refine 5–8 pieces of content per day. Most pieces are structured AI-generated drafts (typically 800–1500 words) that require editing and formatting, not writing from scratch.

Compensation

Compensation

This role is paid per completed piece. Rates vary based on content type and complexity.

Typical rates:
• Standard blog posts (800–1200 words): $8 per piece
• Service pages (1500–2000 words): $15-30 per piece
• FAQ/short content (300–500 words): $5 per piece

Experienced specialists typically earn $20–$30/hour equivalent once fully trained, depending on speed and output quality.

Payment is for editor-approved content only. Pieces requiring significant revision may be returned for correction before payment.
