Overview
Indeed’s GTM Core team is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Salesforce / Agentforce AI Platform Integration Architect to lead the evolution of enterprise-scale autonomous AI systems integrated with Salesforce Agentforce environments.
This role will serve as a bridge between internal AI/data platform services and Salesforce’s advanced agentic capabilities while defining scalable, secure, and intelligent orchestration frameworks across distributed enterprise systems.
The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce integration expertise with modern AI/LLM architecture knowledge, enterprise systems thinking, and strong governance practices.

Key Responsibilities
System Orchestration & Architecture
Architect end-to-end integration solutions connecting internal AI co-worker platforms and enterprise data services with Salesforce Agentforce environments
Design scalable and secure distributed architectures across cloud-native enterprise ecosystems
Define integration blueprints using APIs, event-driven systems, and autonomous agent orchestration patterns
AI Agent Architecture & Governance
Design modular autonomous AI and micro-agent ecosystems to prevent overloaded reasoning engines
Establish governance standards for:Agent specialization
Delegation boundaries
Semantic task routing

Apply architectural principles to maintain efficient multi-agent collaboration and orchestration
Integration Pattern Optimization
Evaluate and select optimal integration approaches, including:REST APIs
gRPC services
Event-driven architectures
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns

Make architecture decisions based on:Transaction volume
Latency requirements
Reasoning complexity
Data sensitivity
Token and context optimization

Salesforce Platform Integration
Build and integrate Salesforce-native AI capabilities using:Invocable Apex methods
Advanced Salesforce Flows
Custom prompt templates
APIs and connectors

Enable intelligent workflows and autonomous execution capabilities within Salesforce ecosystems
Security, Governance & Compliance
Establish authentication boundaries, trust filters, and secure access controls for AI-driven enterprise workflows
Define data governance standards for sensitive enterprise information
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and architectural governance requirements
Documentation & Technical Leadership
Author comprehensive Architectural Decision Records (ADRs)
Clearly document:Technical trade-offs
Architectural constraints
High-Level Requirements (HLRs)

Collaborate closely with:Data Engineers
Salesforce Administrators
Security Operations teams
Platform Architecture teams

Required Qualifications (Must-Have Skills)
AI & Agentic Architecture
Strong understanding of:
Large Language Model (LLM) orchestration
Prompt engineering
Context window management
Token conservation strategies
Multi-step AI workflows
Agent orchestration frameworks
Experience designing autonomous routing systems leveraging semantic understanding and tool execution.
Enterprise Integration & Distributed Systems
Proven expertise in enterprise integrations and scalable system architecture
Strong experience with:REST APIs
gRPC
Event-driven architectures
Salesforce Pub/Sub API

Experience integrating distributed cloud systems with Salesforce environments
Salesforce Expertise
Deep expertise with:
Apex methods

Strong experience integrating enterprise systems with Salesforce platforms.

Strong understanding of:

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Experience with MuleSoft or middleware platforms
Experience building autonomous AI agents or micro-agent ecosystems
Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce
Experience with semantic tool discovery or AI-native integrations
Knowledge of Salesforce Bulk APIs and Salesforce Connect
Experience operating within large-scale enterprise AI environments
