Job Description:

Title: Senior Recruiter
Location: Remote – USA, Canada
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Employee Experience and Talent Acquisition
Vacancy: This is an existing vacancy

The Role: As a Senior Recruiter, you will operate as a strategic talent advisor, owning end-to-end hiring across a complex portfolio of roles while directly influencing how JD Power hires. You will partner with senior leaders, People & Culture, and Finance to translate business strategy into forward-looking hiring plans.

This is a transformation role. We are shifting from transactional recruiting to a proactive talent engine. You will help design and embed this shift by bringing structure, rigor, and market insights to searches, while raising the bar on hiring quality, consistency, and decision-making.

The Impact You Will Have in This Role:
You will directly elevate the quality, speed, and consistency of how JD Power hires. Your work powers our ability to bring in the right capabilities at the right time, enabling JD Power to deliver on its mission. Every role you fill is a decision that shapes our products, our culture, and our customers’ success. You will be a key driver in making TA a trusted, strategic partner to the business.

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role:
Own and drive end-to-end full-cycle recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, offers, background checks, dispositions, etc.) for individual contributor through senior-level roles globally

Lead structured intake conversations with hiring leaders to define success profiles, challenge assumptions, and align on clear, measurable hiring criteria

Partner with hiring managers through structured intake sessions to define success profiles, hiring strategy, and interview plans aligned to JD Power’s Values and ways of working

Drive active and passive sourcing strategies to build proactive talent pipelines for priority and high-demand skill areas as well as future capability needs

Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience that reflects the “One JD Power” standard

Manage Workday Recruiting with excellence — maintaining data accuracy, requisition hygiene, and reporting integrity throughout every search

Advise hiring managers on talent market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, and hiring feasibility to support informed, data-backed decisions

Coach hiring managers on structured, predictive interviewing techniques; facilitate debrief sessions to drive objective hiring decisions

Contribute to the evolution of TA processes, tools, and operating model — identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement

Participate in workforce planning conversations with Finance and People & Culture Business Partners to anticipate hiring needs ahead of demand

Deliver timely requisition updates, pipeline metrics, and time-to-fill reporting to stakeholders as part of a data-driven TA function

Qualifications of this Role:
Progressive full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within technology, data, analytics, or professional services environments

Experience recruiting across North America and Europe

Demonstrated success sourcing and closing mid-to-senior level talent in competitive markets — including individual contributors, managers, and senior/VP-level roles

Experience with Workday Recruiting or equivalent enterprise ATS — strong requisition management and reporting hygiene

Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and modern sourcing tools; builds pipelines proactively, not reactively

Strong business partnership and stakeholder management skills — able to advise, influence, and build credibility quickly with confidence and data

Data literacy: comfortable with recruiting metrics, dashboards, and using data to guide hiring decisions and tell the TA story to the business

Structured interview experience: knowledge of competency-based and Values-aligned interview design

Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-moving, evolving environment without sacrificing quality or candidate experience

Transformation mindset: energized by building, improving, and standardizing — not just executing the status quo

High accountability: owns outcomes and holds self and partners to a high bar

Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and direct — aligned to the JD Power ways of working

The Hiring Manager says:
“We’re not just filling roles — we’re building a talent function. I’m looking for someone who brings structure to every search, who genuinely partners with hiring managers rather than just processing requisitions, and who is energized by the opportunity to help build something better. If you care about the craft of recruiting and want to be part of a team that is raising the bar, this is the role for you.”

This position has a starting salary range of $90,000 – $100,000 USD per year. This is the range we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for the role at the time of posting. An employee’s pay within the range is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, business or organizational needs, and geographic location.
