Senior Real Estate Analyst, Investment Properties

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Real Estate Analyst to join their thriving investment team. This role is crucial for evaluating and recommending potential real estate acquisitions and dispositions. The Senior Real Estate Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, financial modeling, and due diligence on various property types, including commercial, multi-family, and industrial assets. The successful candidate will play a key part in developing investment strategies and supporting the portfolio management team.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed financial analyses, including pro forma statements, discounted cash flow (DCF) models, internal rate of return (IRR) calculations, and sensitivity analyses. You will also be responsible for underwriting new investment opportunities, assessing risks and returns, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and investment committees. This involves liaising with brokers, developers, lenders, and legal counsel to gather necessary information and facilitate transactions. You will also monitor existing portfolio performance, identify opportunities for value enhancement, and assist with asset management reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or Master's in Real Estate is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, analysis, or finance is required. Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Excel, Argus Enterprise, and experience with real estate databases (e.g., CoStar, REIS) are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely, are critical. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, US , combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
