Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in healthcare analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will design and deliver high-performance dashboards and data visualizations that support clinical, operational, and quality improvement initiatives, particularly within pediatric and healthcare environments.

This role requires deep hands-on experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and DAX, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI tailored to healthcare and pediatric metrics

· Optimize performance of dashboards and reports to ensure scalability, responsiveness, and fast load times

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions

· Perform data analysis and create visualizations to support healthcare quality improvement initiatives

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, report performance, and usability

· Develop and maintain best practices for:

o Data modeling

o DAX calculations

o Power Query transformations

o Implement data security and governance standards within Power BI solutions

o Document development processes and provide training/support to end users

Required Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Power BI Developer in enterprise environments

· Strong hands-on expertise with:

o Power BI report and dashboard development

o Data modeling and schema design

o DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

· Power Query (M language)

o Experience optimizing performance of large-scale dashboards and datasets

o Solid understanding of healthcare data, metrics, and reporting standards

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

o Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage deliverables effectively

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with healthcare systems and electronic health records (EHR)

· Exposure to pediatric healthcare reporting and analytics

· Experience supporting healthcare quality improvement initiatives

· Knowledge of additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)

· Familiarity with healthcare data governance and compliance standards
