Elemental Management Group is a growing healthcare operations company with a strong financial foundation, seeking a Senior Microsoft Fabric Architect / Engineer to lead the design, development, and ownership of enterprise analytics solutions. This is a hands-on, senior technical role focused on building scalable, high-performance analytics that support financial reporting, operational efficiency, and executive decision-making.

This position is fully remote and open to candidates located in the U.S. or internationally.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, architect, and implement end-to-end analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI)

  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, semantic models, and datasets

  • Write advanced SQL, Python, Spark, and DAX code for reliable, repeatable data processing

  • Develop executive-level Power BI dashboards and reports focused on financial metrics, KPIs, and healthcare operations

  • Partner closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Optimize data architecture for performance, security, cost, and regulatory requirements

  • Establish best practices for data governance, documentation, deployment, and maintainability

  • Act as the Microsoft Fabric subject matter expert and advise leadership on analytics platform strategy

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including architecture and production deployments

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python

  • Strong experience designing enterprise data models and analytics solutions

  • Experience working with financial data and finance teams

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or education in finance, accounting, economics, or business analytics

  • Experience in healthcare operations or healthcare financial environments

  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Power BI certifications

  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading analytics initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $130,000 – $140,000 per year (based on experience)
