About the Role
As a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing strategic direction and analytical insights that drive critical business decisions. Your work will focus on solving complex problems, conducting in-depth analyses, and developing robust metrics and reporting frameworks that uncover opportunities for improvement in our customer collections processes and operations.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining regulatory compliance while leading initiatives that enhance risk management and operational efficiency. What You'll Do
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Consulting: Act as a premier consultant to management, developing and influencing analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical requirements that align with arenaflex's overall objectives.
- Relationship Building: Strategically engage, develop, and maintain strong operating relationships with business partners, stakeholders, and professionals across all levels of the organization. Serve as the go-to expert and trusted advisor to senior leadership.
- Complex Problem Solving: Lead the strategy and resolution of notably complex and unique challenges, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of multifaceted activities—including Business Intelligence and self-service solutions.
- Visionary Leadership: Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior management on implementing revolutionary and substantial business solutions that align with corporate strategy and drive measurable outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Lead critical initiatives, mentor and manage teams, and provide guidance to less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Analytical Excellence: Conduct trend analysis, synthesize complex data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all analytical processes and reporting meet regulatory standards while identifying and mitigating potential risks in collections and operations.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who brings a proven track record of analytical excellence and leadership in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can independently drive results while collaborating effectively across teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Seven or more years of experience in Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling, or Statistics—or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education that demonstrates the necessary skills and competencies.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Strong experience in consulting or advisory roles with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent skill development in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in SAS, Python, and SQL Server development using Management Studio, Integration Services, Reporting Services, and Analysis Services.
- Experience working with multiple database systems including Oracle, DB2, and Teradata.
- Deep expertise in the Financial Services industry with emphasis on Consumer Lending, including Collections, Servicing, Small Business Lending, Credit Card, Retail Services, Personal Lending, and Deposit products.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
- Strong analytical abilities to research, trend, analyze, and synthesize complex data into meaningful recommendations.
- Expertise in creating compelling presentations that tell a data-driven story tailored to audiences with diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when analyzing complex datasets.

Compensation & Benefits
