What You'll Do

As a Senior Information Researcher at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities that shape the future of our retail analytics capabilities:


  • Develop Advanced Forecasting Models: Build and maintain sophisticated time series forecasting models, machine learning algorithms, and optimization routines that predict product demand across thousands of SKUs

  • Conduct Rigorous Data Analysis: Perform comprehensive data exploration and examination, including distribution analysis, anomaly detection, and creation of intuitive visualizations that drive business insights

  • Implement Algorithmic Solutions: Translate business requirements into production-ready algorithms while adhering to best practices in model development, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and maintainability

  • Write Clean, Production-Grade Code: Develop well-structured, tested, and documented codebases using best practices including unit testing, proper code organization, and fundamentals of CI/CD pipelines

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with business stakeholders, merchants, and engineering teams to build frameworks that enable rapid demand forecasting and pricing optimization

  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to the evolution of our next-generation demand forecasting platform, making it more efficient, accurate, and accessible to business users

Technical Environment

Our team oversees the production and enhancement of the Demand Forecasting quantitative platform—the critical infrastructure that enables us to evaluate product demand and pricing strategies. We're committed to developing tools that are both highly efficient and remarkably precise, while also making them directly accessible to our business partners and merchants. This allows arenaflex to respond swiftly to customer needs both in-store and online.

You'll have the opportunity to develop proficiency in at least one of our supported programming languages (Python, R, Java, Scala) while adhering to industry best practices in data analysis and data engineering.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree (3+ years) in Quantitative disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent practical work experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building Time Series Forecasting models, Predictive Forecasting models, Machine Learning models, or Optimization algorithms

  • Strong quantitative background with demonstrated expertise in Statistical Inference, Generalized Linear Models, and Markov Decision Processes

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, Java, or similar

  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithm design principles

  • Ability to test, validate, and measure algorithm performance effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively across different time zones and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
