Position Overview

We're seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data Scientist to collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile methodologies to work on modern and complex solutions leveraging Machine Learning and statistical analysis. In this critical role, you'll develop cutting-edge models using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and other advanced technologies to predict and analyze data on hardware and software systems within our massive server infrastructure. Your work will directly prevent outages and pinpoint errors before they impact our operations and the patients we serve.

You'll independently lead processes related to the implementation of systems into production, including integration of purchased solutions. This includes full responsibility for design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of your analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Machine Learning Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to analyze complex data patterns within our enterprise infrastructure systems.


• Predictive Analytics: Build predictive models to forecast hardware and software failures, identify potential system outages, and pinpoint errors before they occur.


• Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights that inform infrastructure decisions.


• Production Implementation: Lead end-to-end implementation of analytical solutions into production environments, including integration with existing systems and third-party solutions.


• Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data processing, model training, and deployment pipelines.


• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of models and systems, identify bugs, and implement effective solutions.


• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data engineers, and infrastructure specialists to deliver integrated solutions.


• Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for all developed models, processes, and systems.


• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and the broader data science community.


• Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in machine learning, data science, and infrastructure monitoring.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.


• Technical Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning with domain expertise in data-driven statistical modeling, discriminative methods, feature extraction and analysis, and supervised learning.


• Programming Proficiency: Fluency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar languages commonly used in data science applications.


• Data Skills: Demonstrated experience with data extraction, wrangling, visualization, and analysis.


• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.


• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.


• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing data from various sources and through big data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.


• Proven experience developing scalable machine learning models and solutions that can handle enterprise-level data volumes.


• Demonstrated experience learning and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, or customized solutions that have shown significant impact in solving complex enterprise problems.


• Experience improving existing data pipelines by exploring unstructured data sources and engineering new features to enhance model performance.


• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.


• Knowledge of healthcare systems or experience in health-related data science is a plus.


• Familiarity with MLOps practices and deployment of models in production environments.

• Competitive Pay: The pay range for this position is $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 annually, depending on experience, education, and location. This role is eligible for additional bonuses, commissions, or short-term incentives.
