What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll partner closely with colleagues across various departments to understand their challenges and deliver data-driven analysis solutions. Your work will be instrumental in shaping how millions of consumers interact with healthcare services online. Here's what you can expect to be doing:

• Analyze customer journeys to identify opportunities that drive more adoption, engagement, retention, and conversion across digital platforms


• Develop personalization capabilities using artificial intelligence to target specific audiences for relevant outreach campaigns


• Design and execute online experiments (A/B testing), measure results, and optimize based on data-driven insights


• Apply causal inference methodologies and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to optimize tests where traditional A/B testing isn't feasible or appropriate


• Create and implement algorithms and statistical predictive models to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes


• Perform investigations of structured and unstructured data to solve diverse and complex business problems using advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their pain points and develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports, and performance metrics


• Develop and participate in presentations and meetings with existing and prospective stakeholders on analysis results and recommended solutions


• Communicate complex information effectively to internal and external partners and managers related to areas of specialization


• Utilize strong programming skills to explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of data in various formats

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a talented data scientist who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about using data to drive real business impact. If you have a curious mind and love solving complex problems, you'll fit right in.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience applying modern machine learning techniques to build predictive models for both classification and regression problems


• 3+ years of experience using Python and SQL for data analysis and model development


• 2+ years of experience extracting meaningful insights from analysis and interpreting results of complex models to present to business audiences, including technical, non-technical, and senior leaders


• 2+ years of experience preparing data for analysis, working with data engineering teams to create modeling datasets, evaluating data satisfaction and quality, and performing feature engineering


• 2+ years of experience applying knowledge of cutting-edge analysis tools and languages to analyze large datasets from various data sources


• 2+ years of experience in experimental design and managed/solo machine learning approaches


• Bachelor's degree in a related field (see preferred disciplines below)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and implementing online experiments (A/B testing) in production environments


• Demonstrated strong ability to communicate technical concepts and recommendations to diverse stakeholders


• Capacity to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues, project teams, and senior management


• Ability to anticipate and prevent issues and detours before they occur


• Proficiency in multiple areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analysis, experimental design, and predictive modeling with deep specialization in certain areas

Education Requirements:

We require a graduate degree or equivalent work experience in one of the following disciplines:

• Business Analytics


• Economics


• Physics


• Engineering


• Or a related discipline

PhD in a related discipline is strongly desired and will be given preferential consideration.

Work Environment & Culture

This position follows a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance remote work with collaborative in-office time. You'll be based in our New York City office and are expected to commute to the office 3 days per week on a consistent schedule. Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:

The ordinary compensation range for this position is:

$106,605.00 - $206,000.00 per year

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time compensation for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base compensation offer will depend on various factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for an arenaflex bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base compensation range listed above.
