About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Architecting Data Solutions: Apply your extensive knowledge of technology choices, design patterns, and best practices across the Data Engineering ecosystem to build systems that solve complex business problems and deliver measurable value.


• Building Scalable Systems: Construct robust systems and datasets using programming best practices, fundamental data management principles, modern data storage techniques, cutting-edge distributed systems technologies, and operational excellence methodologies.


• Data Modeling and Analysis: Analyze source systems, define critical data sources and transformation requirements, design logical data models, and thoroughly document all designs and specifications for future reference and knowledge transfer.


• Quality and Productivity Focus: Demonstrate passion for quality and productivity by employing professional development techniques, coding standards, and guidelines that ensure deliverable excellence and maintainable solutions.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of post-graduation professional software development experience, demonstrating proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions.


• System Design Expertise: 3+ years of experience in system design or architecture (including design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for both new and existing systems, showing the ability to create robust and scalable solutions.


• Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in at least one programming language, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
