What You'll Do

This is a transformative role that sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and analytical innovation. As a Senior Analyst within our Operations Performance & Results (OPR) Examination Group, you'll be instrumental in reshaping how thousands of vendor organizations operate within our ecosystem. This isn't a role where you'll be working in isolation—this is a high-visibility position that demands collaboration, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple functional areas.

Our technology partners are developing cutting-edge tools that vendors will use to execute high-value operational activities. Your responsibility will be to determine whether we've built the right technologies that truly address our vendors' needs. You'll evaluate our tools, provide feedback for improvement, and ensure that the solutions we develop deliver genuine value to both arenaflex and our vendor partners. These enhancements should streamline order fulfillment, improve communication channels, enhance reporting capabilities, increase product availability, and provide unprecedented transparency into our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster statistical and analytical models to support cross-functional initiatives and drive business innovation


• Collaborate and partner closely with Data Solutions, Data Visualization, and other teams to ensure flexible rollout of recommendations and seamless implementation


• Utilize data engineering and data science techniques to bring difficult questions into scope and develop comprehensive solutions


• Become the subject matter authority for data, analysis, and visualization within the Global Operations or Supply Chain organization to ensure accurate and appropriate interpretation of core business metrics and consumer behavior patterns


• Support large-scale improvement initiatives spanning thousands of vendors to improve efficiency and visibility across the supply chain for our vendor partners


• Analyze key performance metrics to identify root causes of performance issues and drive meaningful change


• Consistently communicate performance trends and improvements to senior management and leadership teams


• Work with technology partners to evaluate tools and ensure they meet vendor needs and business objectives


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across operational workflows

What You'll Need

We're looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Essential Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Economics, Management, Social Sciences, or other quantitative discipline with a strong academic record


• Quantitative Experience: Experience in a quantitative, business intelligence, data science, or engineering role performing quantitative analysis is required


• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience conducting quantitative analyses on large datasets; proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc.), and structured programming languages (Python, R)


• Database Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SQL (TSQL, Google Big Query, and Vertica including aggregate functions, joins, etc.)


• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


• Analytical Mindset: Solution-oriented, collaborative, and curious attitude with a passion for solving complex problems


• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative nature and highly cooperative disposition


• Project Management: Experience in delivering successful projects from start to finish on time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Tableau/Looker/DataStudio) is a strong plus


• Background in e-commerce, retail operations, or supply chain management


• Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones


• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and their application to business problems


• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies
