Senior Content Strategist

Engagement Type: Fixed-Price Contract

Duration: 75 days from contract execution

Location: Remote — India

Start: Q3 2026 (TBD)

Overview

Mohr Management is undertaking a structured refit of its corporate website, mohrpartners.com. The technical build will be managed separately by a retained development vendor. This contract engagement will focus on the senior content strategy, editorial standards and web copy framework needed to support the updated site.

This is a defined-deliverable engagement with a clear end state. The selected contractor will help establish the editorial foundation for the website, including the voice, content structure, page templates and production-ready copy standards that will guide the site refit.

This engagement is best suited for a senior content strategist or editorial lead who has experience with B2B professional services, can work independently and can produce clear, polished work with minimal revision.

What You Will Deliver

1. Editorial Style Guide

Develop a practical, original editorial style guide for Mohr Partners’ web content. The guide should be useful to writers, marketers and non-writers who may contribute to the website over time.

The style guide should include:

Voice and tone principles, with annotated examples

Grammar, punctuation and usage conventions

Terminology and nomenclature standards specific to commercial real estate

Rules for headlines, subheads, CTAs and navigational copy

Guidance for writing about the firm, its leadership and its services

2. Page Content Templates and Site Architecture Recommendations

Create structured, production-quality templates for core website page types. The scope is expected to include approximately 15-20 core pages and 25-30 landing pages.

Each template should define:

Recommended content zones

Word-count guidance

SEO metadata fields

Sample copy written at production quality

Guidance for how the page should function within the broader site experience

The contractor will also provide a point of view on site architecture, including recommended additions, removals or refinements that would improve site utility. Structural changes will require leadership approval, so the current site map should be evaluated but not treated as fixed.

3. Content Audit and Copy Remediation

Review existing website copy against the completed style guide. Identify gaps, inconsistencies and underperforming content, then produce revised copy for high-priority pages.

This is not a “redline only” audit. The contractor will be expected to synthesize findings into usable, production-ready copy where needed.

Scope Notes

This engagement does not include: CMS implementation, website development, technical QA, management of the development vendor

The contractor will have a defined handoff point with the development vendor but will not be responsible for managing that relationship.

All deliverables are owned by Mohr Partners upon completion. A standard IP assignment will be included in the contract.

All copy deliverables must be written by the contractor. AI-assisted research and outlining are acceptable; AI-generated copy submitted as finished work is not. Mohr Partners expects content that reflects original editorial judgment.

Qualifications

Required:

8+ years in content strategy, editorial, or brand writing roles

Demonstrated experience with B2B professional services firms, such as real estate, finance, consulting or similar industries

Ability to independently develop a style guide from scratch, not adapt a template

Strong command of written English at a professional publishing standard

Portfolio that includes web content for corporate or institutional clients

Comfortable working across time zones with an async-first communication style

Preferred:

Familiarity with commercial real estate

Experience delivering editorial systems (style guides, content frameworks) that non-writers can use

Prior engagement with US- or UK-headquartered clients

Engagement Terms

This is a fixed-price contract with payment tied to agreed milestones.

Proposed milestones include editorial style guide delivery, template set and site architecture recommendations, content audit and remediation copy delivery, and landing page content delivery

Candidates should submit a fixed-fee proposal for the full engagement.
