About This Role

As a Senior Business Transformation Customer Insights Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious 2030 vision. In this remote position, you'll be the voice of the customer within our Business Transformation team. You'll collect, analyze, and distill quantitative and qualitative customer research that answers our most challenging questions and drives strategic decision-making across the enterprise. What You'll Do

As a Senior Business Transformation Customer Insights Specialist, your responsibilities will span the full spectrum of market research and customer insight generation. You'll be the primary authority on understanding what our customers need, what they value, and how we can serve them better through our evolving product and service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Complex Statistical Research Studies: Design and execute research studies of the highest complexity for use by the Business Transformation team and partners throughout the enterprise, encompassing primary research, secondary research, quantitative analysis, and qualitative methodologies.

Vendor Relationship Management: Identify, solicit, and expertly manage relationships with external market research firms, competitive intelligence vendors, consultants, and specialized suppliers to ensure we have the best insights available.

Insight Generation & Data Interpretation: Provide expert data interpretation advice and insight generation to senior decision-makers, translating complex data into actionable strategic recommendations.

Customer Segmentation Development: Use sophisticated market research to define and refine arenaflex's SaaS customer segments in close partnership with product development and marketing teams.

Demand Forecasting: Collect and analyze information necessary to forecast customer demand elasticity for groundbreaking new-to-the-world products that have never existed before.

Strategic Research Leadership: Provide continuous coaching and support—or lead directly—strategic market research efforts across the Business Transformation Ecosystem, owning the complete planning and execution for the Customer Insights workstream.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with product teams, marketing, sales, engineering, and executive leadership to ensure customer insights drive product strategy and business decisions.

Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide forward-looking insights that position arenaflex for continued success.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive market research experience, specifically working with technology-driven, recurring revenue products and services.

Product Launch Expertise: Demonstrated success leading market research efforts that directly informed the successful launch of a new-to-the-world product or service.

Pricing Strategy: Proven track record leading pricing studies for technology-driven, recurring revenue products, understanding the unique dynamics of subscription-based business models.

Analytical Excellence: Strong ability to apply statistical analysis principles and methodologies to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and make data-driven recommendations.

Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional documentation, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. You must demonstrate a proven ability to take initiative, build strong productive relationships, and communicate clearly to audiences at all organizational levels.

Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to meet with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with internal teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
