Senior Business Analyst
The organization is undertaking a multi-year modernization initiative to enhance program delivery and management capabilities. This initiative includes the continued evolution of Microsoft Dynamics 365-based platforms, integration with enterprise resource planning systems, decommissioning of legacy applications, and enhancement of digital services. The modernization effort focuses on improving service delivery through enhanced digital capabilities, strengthened data management practices, streamlined business processes, and improved stakeholder collaboration across the division and partner organizations.
The Senior Business Analyst will provide senior-level business analysis services supporting ongoing development, system enhancements, and digital service delivery. Working alongside government staff, contractors, and digital delivery partners, the consultant will be responsible for leading business analysis activities including requirements elicitation and documentation, business process analysis and redesign, solution definition, integration and data migration coordination, testing and quality assurance planning, and stakeholder engagement. The role ensures business needs are clearly defined, validated, and translated into effective technical solutions aligned with modernization objectives and enterprise architecture. Key responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder workshops, collaborating with development teams and technical specialists, developing quality assurance activities, analyzing business processes for optimization opportunities, maintaining business architecture artifacts, supporting reporting and business intelligence solutions, and providing ongoing business analysis support for existing applications and digital services.
Initial onboarding and key stakeholder meetings may require in-person attendance, with work arrangements potentially hybrid or fully remote following onboarding.
Qualifications:
7 years - business analysis experience
5 years - requirements elicitation and documentation
5 years - Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform experience
4 years - business process modeling and redesign
4 years - stakeholder facilitation and workshop leadership
3 years - enterprise resource planning system integration
3 years - quality assurance and user acceptance testing coordination
3 years - business intelligence and reporting solutions
Experience with functional specifications and technical solution design
Experience with data migration and system modernization initiatives
Experience with business architecture documentation and maintenance
Experience with user documentation and training material development
