Senior Analyst, IT SOX PMO

    Description:
  • Support the annual SOX scoping and risk assessment process, including quarterly refreshes and the annual fraud risk assessment.
  • Assist with the SOX 404 and 302 certification process for Technology-related areas.
  • Coordinate controls walkthroughs and testing with business teams, and lead deficiency evaluations, reporting, and remediation tracking.
  • Monitor IT SOX testing and help identify and document IT SOX controls in coordination with the broader SOX PMO team.
  • Maintain and improve SOX documentation, including the Risk and Control Matrix and related process flowcharts.
  • Support the evaluation of ICFR deficiencies and monitor remediation activities through conclusion on control effectiveness.
  • Work directly with external auditors to align on SOX scope, timing, approach, and Technology-related issues.
  • Partner on special projects that affect the SOX program, including new system implementations and other emerging initiatives.
  • Assist with oversight and execution of SOC 1 assessments, audits, and reporting across lines of business.
  • Advise the team on Technology SOX controls, COSO compliance, ICFR best practices, and workflow process improvements.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems Management, or Finance.
  • 5+ years of IT SOX-related experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Deep knowledge of IT SOX, IT general controls (ITGCs), IT application controls (ITACs), ICFR, and the COSO Framework.
  • CISA certification or equivalent certification such as CPA or CIA is required.
  • Practical, deep knowledge of SOX and COSO.
  • Experience in public accounting firm IT audit is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
  • FinTech, banking, or financial services experience focused on SOX or enterprise-wide risk management and ICFR controls consulting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments with minimal oversight.
  • Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills.
