Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, delivering meaningful intelligence that informs security operations and drives strategic decision-making. You will act as a conduit to arenaflex's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts, providing clients with the insights they need to anticipate, prepare for, and neutralize sophisticated cyber threats.
This is an on-site, client-facing position located in Virginia. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, high-stakes environment and possess the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Due to the nature of the work and client requirements, this role requires active engagement with sensitive information and direct interaction with government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of critical responsibilities that directly impact our clients' security posture and operational success:
- Intelligence Analysis & Synthesis: Connect disparate pieces of intelligence to develop comprehensive understandings of tracked threat activities, including threat actor motivations, attack methodologies, and campaign patterns.
- Strategic Threat Research: Conduct strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and threat groups, identifying emerging trends and attack vectors.
- Tool & Methodology Evaluation: Assess current and emerging tools, technologies, and best practices for tracking advanced threats, including the analysis of attacker tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Intelligence Reporting: Prepare and deliver high-quality briefings, reports, and written intelligence products to client executives, security teams, and investigators.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, their methodologies, and the motivations driving their activities, effectively conveying the significance of findings to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including incident response specialists, security operations personnel, and executive leadership to ensure unified threat defense.
- Capability Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination processes.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this senior-level position, candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Digital Threat Intelligence or Cyber Threat Intelligence role in a client-facing environment.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) techniques and applications across functional domains: Identify, Protect, Respond, or Recover.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in partner management, leadership, presenting to, and responding to diverse audiences including C-level executives and government officials.
- Security Clearance: Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Data (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
