Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be the frontline of our customer service operations. You'll handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and text messages, ensuring every customer receives prompt, accurate, and friendly assistance. Your goal will be to identify and assess customer needs, provide appropriate solutions, and go the extra mile to create memorable experiences that keep our customers coming back.

This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and enjoy variety in their workday. You'll need to be comfortable managing a significant volume of contacts while maintaining high-quality interactions. The ability to quickly pivot between tasks, follow established guidelines, and solve problems efficiently is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our support team, you will be responsible for:


  • Managing a high volume of incoming customer contacts via phone, email, and text messages in a timely and professional manner

  • Identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve optimal satisfaction and resolution

  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the appropriate methods and tools

  • Meeting personal contact handling quotas while maintaining quality standards

  • Handling customer complaints with patience and empathy, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives

  • Following established communication procedures, guidelines, and policies for every interaction

  • Going the extra mile to engage customers and create positive, lasting impressions

  • Quickly moving from completed or stalled tasks to new assignments to maintain productivity

  • Looking up information and solving problems by following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Documenting customer interactions and issues as required for quality assurance and improvement

Schedule and Availability Requirements

This is a part-time seasonal position with the following availability requirements:


  • Seasonal Period: March/April/May through September/October, with potential for year-round employment for exceptional candidates

  • Mandatory Availability: We require availability during our busiest periods, which are Saturday afternoons (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Eastern), Sunday mornings (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern), and Monday mornings (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern)

  • Typical Hours: Expect to work approximately 15-35 hours per week

  • Schedule Stability: Schedules are generally consistent from week to week and created based on what works for you

  • Weekend Work Required: Due to the nature of our business and customer volume patterns, weekend availability is mandatory

Compensation and Incentives

At arenaflex, we believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication:


  • Starting Pay: $11.00 per hour (temporary rate for the first 3 weeks)

  • Performance-Based Raise: After completing the 3-week assessment period, all Phone and Full Support representatives who continue with the company receive a permanent pay increase

  • Post-Assessment Pay Range: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour, determined by performance during the assessment period

  • Pay Frequency: Weekly payments for consistent cash flow

  • Peak Season Incentives (June - August):

    • Two weekly $50 Visa gift card raffles based on weekly productivity

    • Monthly $300 Visa gift card for the teammate voted most helpful ($200 for runner-up)

    • $500 Visa gift card for best customer feedback received throughout the summer ($300 for runner-up)

    • Various end-of-season payroll bonuses to key representatives, totaling thousands of dollars



Required Qualifications and Technical Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Residency: Must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, or Tennessee. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions for candidates outside these states, even if you live near a border or previously lived in one of these states.

  • Internet Connection: Reliable high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 5 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps

  • Computer Specifications: Windows computer capable of running multiple (5+) Chrome tabs without slowdown. Note: Chromebooks and Apple computers are not compatible with our systems.

  • Equipment: A headset compatible with your computer for clear communication

  • Work Environment: Quiet workspace free from distractions and background noise

  • Assessments: Must complete Indeed's Basic Computer Skills assessment (this is required and cannot be skipped). Completion of the Customer Service assessment is a plus but not mandatory.
