This is a remote position.

EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time Sales Operations Manager for one of our partners, a growing manufacturer and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions serving both NEVI and non-NEVI markets across the United States. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting end-to-end commercial operations — managing sales processes, coordinating order fulfillment, overseeing accounts receivable, and serving as a key cross-functional liaison between U.S. sales teams, the global parent organization, and domestic manufacturing operations. This role is on-site, with no option to work remotely/from home. Travel may be required for customers, trade shows, and the domestic manufacturing site. Flexible working hours may be required to coordinate with international teams across time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quote generation, sales order processing, proposal development, and the submission of customer-facing documentation

  • Lead RFx response efforts (RFI / RFQ / RFP) and develop thorough, well-organized proposal packages

  • Ensure CRM data integrity across pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and pricing frameworks

  • Administer and document commercial terms, including Incoterms, payment schedules, and warranty conditions

  • Partner with production, supply chain, logistics, and project management teams to align on manufacturing timelines and delivery targets

  • Track order backlog, demand forecasts, and safety stock positions while generating regular status reports

  • Proactively surface and mitigate operational risks — including scheduling shifts, inventory constraints, and site readiness — to keep deliveries on track

  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices and all customer-facing billing records

  • Monitor AR aging buckets (30/60/90 days) and collaborate with Sales and Finance to drive timely collections

  • Ensure adherence to contractual payment terms and flag emerging financial risks before they escalate

  • Process credit memos, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain accurate supporting financial documentation

  • Build and maintain accounts receivable reports and executive-level dashboards

  • Act as the primary operational bridge connecting U.S. Sales, global parent organization, manufacturing, finance, and customer support functions

  • Manage compliance documentation requirements for government-funded programs, including NEVI and Buy America Build America (BABA)

  • Develop and maintain recurring dashboards that reflect sales performance, order delivery status, AR health, and pipeline trends

  • Mine operational data to uncover inefficiencies and drive continuous process improvements

  • Stay current on EV market developments, competitive dynamics, and infrastructure funding programs

  • Facilitate customer-facing communications, coordinate delivery updates, and support preparation for client meetings

  • Maintain accurate records of warranty coverage and contractual commitments across the customer portfolio

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a closely related discipline

  • Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Sales Operations, Order Management, or AR/Billing roles within a manufacturing or B2B setting

  • Advanced Excel skills combined with working knowledge of CRM and ERP platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with a strong ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to juggle competing priorities and deliver results while collaborating across multiple departments and functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the EV charging, energy, automotive, or hardware manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated background in accounts receivable management, encompassing billing operations, aging report analysis, and credit evaluation

  • Previous experience within a multinational organization or a track record of successfully coordinating with international counterparts

  • Bilingual capability is an advantage given the frequent collaboration with global teams across multiple time zones

Benefits

  • 100% of health is covered by the employer

  • 401k 6% match

  • Life Insurance

  • 80 hours of vacation

  • 40 hours of leave
