Backed by Circle, Coinbase, Dragonfly, we're a small team solving hard problems at the intersection of crypto and global payments.

The Role
As a Sales Lead at Codex, you'll own the end-to-end commercial relationship with institutional clients and fintech partners in your region — from first outreach through to signed contracts and live trading.
This is a high-ownership, high-accountability role. You'll be managing a live pipeline, attending conferences, and regularly interfacing with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to unblock deals and get clients trading.

Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Outbound
Own your regional pipeline from top of funnel to close — sourcing leads, qualifying prospects, and maintaining accurate deal records

Run targeted outbound across various platforms in coordination with the Marketing function, and follow up on inbound leads generated by the website and conferences

Identify and attend high-value industry conferences and side events in your region to generate new relationships and accelerate deals in progress

Deal Execution
Run discovery calls and commercial negotiations with prospects across your region

Identify client use cases, volume profiles, and corridor requirements — and translate these into pricing proposals in coordination with the Trading, Treasury and Account Management team

Escalate pricing blockers, compliance queries, and onboarding blockers with clear context so they can be resolved quickly

Manage deals involving complex structures with appropriate rigour and cross-functional coordination

Client Onboarding & Activation
Own the handoff from signed deal to live trading — coordinating with internal teams on KYB, account setups, and spread configurations

Stay close to newly onboarded clients during their ramp-up period, following up on first trades and resolving any friction in their early experience

Surface client feedback on product gaps, pricing, SLAs, and rail coverage to the relevant internal teams

Account Management & Reactivation
Monitor the health of your client book — tracking volume trends, flagging at-risk accounts, and proactively engaging clients who have gone quiet

Lead reactivation efforts for dormant clients in your region, understanding why they churned and what it would take to bring them back

Build deep relationships with key accounts, acting as a trusted commercial partner rather than a transactional sales contact

Market Intelligence
Stay current on competitor pricing, product capabilities, and market positioning in your region, and share intelligence with the team regularly

Identify emerging client segments, use cases, or geographies that represent commercial opportunity for Codex

What This Role Requires
Sales experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or financial services — ideally selling to institutional or business clients

Strong understanding of cross-border payments, stablecoins, and the FX dynamics of your target region

Comfortable discussing pricing, compliance requirements, and product capabilities in the same conversation

Highly organised with a disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up

Able to work across time zones and build relationships with clients who operate in fast-moving, operationally complex environments

Fluency in English required; additional languages relevant to your region are a strong advantage
